For the month of April, I’ve been participating in Camp NaNoWriMo and instead of working on my 2014 project, I’ve been working on revisions for Two Destroyers.
It’s pretty interesting to work on it after letting it cool for a while. For those of you that are not regulars of my blog, I’ve been hard at work writing 2D’s follow up, Kingless Country. Part of the fun comes from the differences in terms of character Growth.
The characters of Two Destroyers are the same people as the ones in Kingless Country (with some new faces of course) but life changes us as we struggle through trials. Going back and writing 2D right now, reminds me how far Derrek, Naida and Zammela have to go.
Many of the changes simply reflect my improvement since the start of the project. It’s crazy to think I’ve been writing seriously for four years.
Anyway, things are right on track for my goals set for Camp NaNo, feel free to take a look at my progress. I will be doing November’s 2015 NaNoWriMo, I’ll be writing a third MAcro Corp Novel, this one from the POV of Ray’s twin sister Jocelyn. The working title is “Mimic’s Dilemma”. This will likely change.
As always thanks for the support and stay tuned for a B.O.S.S. story, it’ll likely hit on Saturday. With me doing revisions for my main writing project, I like to keep myself focused. Yesterday for example, I made a great breakthrough on a chapter I’d been staring at funny for months.
